Three Principles of Success

Now on my fourth network marketing company, it wasn't until now that I've found an up-line that based their business on a certain philosophy. My current up-line sponsor gave me these key founding principles that he has used through earning a Harvard MBA, building a successful law practice, and building multiple network marketing businesses.

1. Character - To be successful in this business, you need character. Sure there are ways to pound the numbers, but success comes in attracting business to you. People of character attract other people of character. Sure, selling and convincing can bring a level of success. But attracting business means people are inviting you in to give them what they are looking for. Be someone they can trust.

2. Determination - In one of my previous companies, I started a personal improvement program. One very profound teaching was about decisions. To decide is to cut off all other options. You simply give yourself no other option but to be successful. That doesn't mean you are stubbornly devoted to one method, but it means you do all you can including adapting to changes to make sure you do succeed.

3. Persistence - This only comes with "conversion" to the product and the business. This is one reason to be involved with a company that has superb products and a solid compensation plan. Becoming a convert to your business means that you have a product and/or business that you truly believe will help others. Once you are convinced, you would rather hear "No" than not giving others the opportunity to learn about your business.

Be a person of character to attract others. Decide to be successful. And, be persistent.
